Alchemical fusion was recently discovered by The Kingdom of Skarhiel, specifically by researchers in the Booming Coast. Primarily this technology is used to power large airships and other vehicles. It is hoped that by sharing this technology with the neighboring Corilux Empire, a new era of peace and prosperity can be achieved, despite the historical differences between the two.

Vuto Ore is the key ingredient, and is only available on the Booming Coast.

Complexity

The process is not complex, but requires Vuto ore, and the correct magical frequency. The complexity arises with capturing the produced energy. The only means the researchers currently have is for powering airships, but work is currently being done to increase knowledge in this area and expand potential uses.

Discovery

Was discovered by researchers attempting to magically extract Vuto Ore from a mine. If they used a specific magic frequency, the ore splits releasing an enormous amount of energy. When it was discovered, it caused Southstone Mine to cave in. The full effects of this event have not been explored.
