Spirit of Shadow

The Hua Yan Spirit of Shadow is called upon by the Lao-Hua for causing harm or cursing others, exploring magic with malicious purpose. By some it is considered a misunderstood spirit and is called upon when practicing magics that are generally frowned upon with good intentions. Emperors rarely take on this spirit when crowned, and if they do so, it happens secretly. This is done by those either particularly curious or malignant.
