King of Critters
King Sutai Uul (a.k.a. King of Critters, the Cardinal King, Sutaiul)
The King of Critters (sometimes called King Cardinal, Sutai Uul, or Sutaiul) is the patron god of, and in most cases, the creator of small magical creatures and beast folk. He resembles a large cardinal bird with humanoid features. A merry fellow, he loves all his creatures and will do anything to ensure they remain happy.
The people living in and around the mountains would learn to fear this seemingly unstoppable force without emotion, the monstrous "Sutaiul", and they started organizing themselves in an effort to put an end to him. They gathered as an army at the Nairams' highest mountain, planning to bring the peak down with magic on the beast to bury him forever.
Their plan failed when the beast showed up earlier than expected, and all but a few were slaughtered. The turning point would come, however, as the beast was about to strike down one of the few remaining men, a cardinal bird flew past and recieved the deadly blow before the claws could reach the man. Cesciyb had of course removed all empathy Sutai Uul could ever feel for a man, but had not accounted for the empathy a man could feel over a single innocent bird. As his emotions were returning, so did his mind, and in an attempt to end his own miserable existence he prayed to Harmony, offering his own life so that this bird could live.
By some miracle, Harmony's reach broke through the Misery holding the Nairam mountains, and answered Sutai Uul's prayer by merging him with the bird and thus creating new life. In his new form, Sutai Uul felt no hold of neither Misery nor Harmony, only a desire to create and protect new life. And so he touched the peak of the mountain and it was gone from this world. He looked to the nearby forests and they were gone from this world. He then looked at his new form, and so too was he gone from this world.
Appearing in a realm of his own, a world of endless mountains and forests, he declared himself king of this new world, and started creating new inhabitants in the form of small humanoid beast-creatures, made in his own image.

As the forces of Misery invaded the Nairam Mountains, the Avatar of Misery, Cesciyb, saw godly potential in this simple farmer and decided to mold him into an instrument of pure destruction.
