Golden Sea

The Golden Sea is a bay connected to the shores of Akroasia. It is bounded on the west by Lao-Hua, on the east by Aso, and on the south by the Golden Empire, whose "golden isles" it is named after. In the very north of the bay lies the island nation of Lowe, creating the so-called "Strait of Strauss" between it and Lao-Hua.

It is considered one of the most important waterways for intercontinental commerce, particularly between the major nations of Lao-Hua and Aso. For the Golden Empire it is the only waterway that connects them with the largest trading hub in the world, The Archonate on Gardemoor, via the Spark of the Archon.

According to the government of the Golden Empire, the bay is the universal epicenter of piracy, a phenomenon they blame on Lowe.
