Geography
This planet is a trap for any fragile sentient biped. A floating rock orbiting around a star, the only one in its planetary system to harbor life. A special kind of life. Conke's landscape are dominated by erupting volcanos, abrasive deserts and hot oceans.

The Northern Hemisphere is the most active volcano territory. Rivers of lava cross the plateaus, creating new sediments for, maybe, new ways of life in the next millennia.
Although this planet has oceans, the temperature rises periodically to a boiling point. Beaches are not comfortable places, only the toughest species manage to survive there.
The Southern Hemisphere is populated by unforgiving deserts. Thousands of kilometers covered by rock and sand. Hot days and cold nights. Storms here involve more sand and dust. Water is a scarce resource.

Fauna & Flora
The life in this planet evolved to survive in a planet with harsh conditions: extreme heat, elevated levels of oxygen and boiling water.

All the same, the range of living things is wide. From microscopic organism surviving in the lava to giant insects flying in the sky. Flora developed interesting forms to absorb the necessary light from the star the planet orbits and water, both in its liquid and gas form.
Life in the sea found a way to survive in the ocean's depth, where the temperature is cooler, but the pressure is heavier. Predators and preys fight for survival at every moment. Subterfuge and stealth are key to live another day.
On the surface, living doesn't get easier. Creatures either crawl to remain undetected until they attack or fly high to survey the terrain, avoid other predators and volcanic eruptions, catch the weaker preys.
Plants adapted to the environment to look aggressive or alluring enough to both repel attackers and entice little creatures to devour them when water is not an option.

Wonderful article!! The images and their color scheme fit so well with the vibe, i already can feel the heat from them! I imagine this planet similar to primitive Earth, deadly beautiful, but not a place in which I'd survive since I'm a lover of the cold xD Good job!
