Dragons

Dragons in Hallows Clutch have two forms. The giant and glorious draconic might which is their original form. Then their humanoid form. Which they choose and craft once they reach twenty five years old.  Most of them stay in their humanoid form as it was easier to build an empire in this form. Though when travelling abroad they always stay in the dragons form. 


One of the oldest species in the world. The dragons were once a symbol of power and knowledge. They were almost as common as humans. They had a sprawling Empire near several human kingdoms as well as a the ruins of the barren lands where an elven kingdom was once at. Friends with them all until one day they were betrayed by the two human empires. Those that were closest to them that had not fallen into disarray. The Diadem of Grace and The Empire of Baltof. Being massacred and their cities ransacked by the greedy empires. They were almost all wiped out save those that did not live there. Or those that were enslaved by the two empires. The Baltof Empire and The Diadem of Grace used weapons that suppressed and made the magic pointless. Thankfully those that had made these weapons of horror were killed by assassins. The weapons destroyed as well. Or so most people think.

Conservation Status

The dragons that have survived are hidden and protected by allies. Or they have just gone into hiding to not be found by anyone still after them.
