Through this brochure, we hope to teach you all about our great town's past, present, and, potentially, future.   Let's start with the backbone of our town, the Orbell Powder Paints and Gypsum Products Company, or Orbell Co. for short. Orbell Co. was founded alongside Gypsum by Ulysses Orbell in November of 1887. At its start, Orbell Co. was a humble mining company headlined by Mr. Orbell. Now, Orbell Co. is an economic powerhouse ran by Eugene Orbell. Orbell Co. is a vital part of Gypsum's economy, as they are the largest provider of jobs, donations, and infrastructure for Gypsum.   Gypsum also has significant ranching, agriculture, and mining industries. Other industries include a new scented candle and essential oils manufacturer named Spiritscents LLC. that specializes in the new business model of multi-level marketing, a toy manufacturer named Toytronics that specializes in creative and modern solutions to playtime, and a home appliances manufacturer named Home Machinations that specializes in the latest in home appliance technology.   We'd be doing a disservice if we didn't touch on Gypsum's thriving nightlife and entertainment businesses. From casinos to arcades, and to bowling alleys to the brand new Mallplex Plaza by Orbell, there's no shortage of things to do.   Gypsum also includes all of the amenities of any regular town with none of the hassles, all thanks to Orbell Co., who pays for most of our town's services, save for what little we pay in taxes.
