Kyotic Peoples
The Kyotic peoples are peoples indigenous to the Kyo River Valley. The Kyostics constitute most of the population of the Southern Pillar and area that is believed to be their original point of dispersal.
Culture
Major language groups and dialects
The major languages that the Kyotic people speak is the Kyo tongue and also speak the trader language of Exum.
Culture and cultural heritage
Many Kyotic peoples, except the Kyosi-Eya, still practice pastoralism, migrating on a seasonal basis with their livestock.
In terms of religious beliefs, most Kyotic people worship the Orisha, Kyo, with the most devout being a part of the Cult of Kyo.
In terms of military, Kyotic Plainsmen have become reknown for their horsemanship and have developed the best calvary units in Exum. The Kyosi-Eya are also known for their river units but are also known for their River Fleet. The Kyosi-Eya's army is said to rival that of any of the Four Pillars of Heaven.
Shared customary codes and values
The majority of the Kyotic people believe themselves to come from the nine decedents of the Orisha, Kyo.
Common Dress code
Although there is no official dress code of the Kyotic People, a primary colors that is often find in Kyotic fashion is red and gold.
Birth & Baptismal Rites
Pregnant women due for birth are moved to the birthing village on the river, when they are ready to give birth they submerge themselves in the shallows to give birth. They are surrounded by Elder Women, members of the Cult of Kyo, who help them with the childbirth and sing songs as the child is born.
Funerary and Memorial customs
Just as Kyotic are born out of the river, they'r bodies are returned to the river after their death in full ceremony
Funeral Masking began with the Kyotic peoples and spread all over Exum When a person is ready for the memorial service, their body is marched to the river. The family members are dressed in elaborate and colorful costumes of beads, feathers, and fur.
Historical figures
One of the major historical figures of the Kyotic was the River Chief and his tribes opposed and refused to submit to Makonnen, the Unifier to initiate the @War of Unification, but were betrayed by the Koxun-Eya Clan, which was the cause of them being removed from under the River Chief's rule.

Beauty Ideals
Physically, Kyotic peoples are know for their very dark skin color and tall slander bodies. The Kyotics believe that the darker the skin the more affluent a person is because, very dark skin is accounted to those that tend cattle.
Major organizations
There are five clans in the Kyotic ethnicity with the largest being the Kyosi-Eya and their Nine Tributes. Other Kyotic Clans include:

- The Sogolun-Eya
- Koli-Eya
- Denare-Eya
