Djangru

Djangru was the Exumite name for the continent to the north and east of Ilmeya. It is held to be the most dangerous and hostile part of the Griot's Song world. It is believed to be the only continent not touched by the Faeroahs. The southwestern plains of the country are said to be ruled by several men of Sagon ethnicity, who hold the title of Khong.
These Khongates are said to be the remnants of the Aral Empire , the same empire that is said to beat back the Faeroahs during their attempt of world domination. In the north, past the Great Aral Ranges, it was said that the continent turned from fertile land to a frozen desert. The western islands are said to live the seafaring Ohud . It is believed that these lands were ruled by the other decendants of the Aral
