House Nkoss - The house of magic, they are the lore keepers. Enigmatic, often skipping court for other pursuits. While they sit on the outskirts of the royal circle, they are known to always have the Empire's best interest at heart. House Thothmeties - The Reclaimers, oldest of the houses. They reclaim the secrets of the past and offer them up to the houses in large bidding wars and jostles for power. They are the coffers of the Empire because of this. Culture

Each of the desperate houses have many nuances to their thinking and ways of life. But there are a few commonalities. They all can trace their origin to the original Martian tribes. Martians and by extension Solarians hate weakness, it is the greatest failing of oneself to let themselves wither into mediocrity. They value strength, glory, and cold logic. By this reason it is the not just the right of the powerful to rule, but it is the duty, for a people must have great leaders, or fade into the annals of time.
