War. War never changes.   It was war that drove ancient man to discover time. With the birth of wisdom came great suffering, and the need for work. With time, mankind devised tools to ease his toil, and rituals to heal his soul; he built cities, and told stories of gods who inhabit a time before war...to the ends of the earth he pursued his amnesia's cure...to no avail.   Time and time again, his progress undone by his own sickened hand, mankind yearns for salvation - for respite from forces beyond his control.   In the year 2077, man is on the brink of overcoming his earthly ailments, and taking his place among the stars...never before, too, has he been so efficient in war. In two hours, the firestorm had ended, and earth fell silent, beneath a pall of toxic dust.
