Standford-Town
A small town of simple wooden buildings, scattered shops, and large plots of farmland. Standford at one point got most of its wealth from travelers coming and going through the southern part of Northern Wilds. However, in recent years the town has started to dwindle due in part to the Eldham docks providing easier and safer travel to those looking to head to Hilltop and the central settlements of the Northern Wilds. The town still stands and makes ends meet, usually through their well-known brothel and inn "The King's Chamber's".
The other key issue that has been causing the decline in travelers is the increase in activity from the Hollow Viel Forest, as more rumors surface about the dangers of the forest more and more travelers seek to avoid going near the dangerous woods. To make matters worse the Jeweled Court has elected to start cutting resources to the dwindling town, as it falling profits suggest that it is no longer needed to support the economy of the Conclave.
Demographics
Standford is mainly made up of humans with a few half-elven populace, though the town itself is often welcoming to newcomers of all backgrounds.
Government
Standford is governed overall by the Merchant's Conclave, however, like all settlements of the Conclave, Standford does have an appointed Mayor to run the town on a local level.
Mayor Trica Standford stands as the town's current Mayor, the latest of the long line of Standfords to hold the office. Many, however, see her as the last of the Standfords to hold the position for one reason or another. Whether it be from the town finally falling apart after years of dwindling or the fact that the elderly one has never taken a husband and has no children of her own to carry the Standford name. Even in her old though she still works tirelessly to bring the town back from the brink.
Helping to keep things safe within the town is Militia Captain Delona Thorben, an older Half-elven woman that has over the years been training and leading the local town militia after most of the Diamond Guard forces were pulled from the town. While most at first didn't care for her after her controversial marriage to Amos Thorben, over the years she has become a welcome part of the town that gained much respect from it's people.
Defences
Standford lacks any outer walls or a large station of Diamond Guard forces, only a 100 Diamond Guard troops are stationed at the town lead by a middle-aged man named Jamison. To support this small force the people of Standford formed a militia of 300 men and women from the local populace, while they lack the proper equipment of a Guard force they maintain a good training regiment and haven't gone unproven.

Traveler's Supply A moderately sized building that is longer than it is wide with a simple wooden front door and a colorful sign that hangs above it. The store itself is stocked wall to wall with shelves full of various goods and anything a traveler could ever need, though the layer of thick dust on most of the stock shows that anything is rarely bought anymore.- The shop is owned by a human by the name Beth.

Specialty
The King's Chamber's A well built three-story building made of wood with a stone foundation and a wide porch that runs the length of the front of the building.
