Magic

All gods say the same thing. Magic was not created. It simply was. The ability to use it may come in many forms, but it is inherently the same.   Magic takes many forms. But ultimately, there are 3 aggreed upon forms. Arcana: Which is learned through rigourous training. Channeling Magic: While similair to Arcana, it is an inborn gift, honed with training, often confused with Divine Magic. And Divine Magic: Which is given by a diety, granted not necessarily as a reward for faith, but instead in response to need.   Arcana: Arcana is raw, unfettered willpower. Binding the energies of the universe to your will, and commanding them to perform actions. Arcana is unique, in that it is studied. There is no inherent Gift. There is no ability that predetermines your ability to learn Arcana. You learn as much as you can manage, and you continue to learn until you are satisfied. With your improvements in skill, your casting prowess improves as well.   Arcana is considered to be one of the purest forms of magics, and was always perceived as an attempt to imitate the gods.   Channeling Magic: Those with the gift of Channeling are tied directly to the fabric of the universe in some inherent way. Gifted with the ability to, from birth, manipulate magic, the source code of the universe. Some consider this to be a blessing of the divine. Some consider it a spark. Others consider it a fluke. Even more, an abomination, something to be reviled, a trick to lure the faithful away from their true path.   Divine Magic: Also called Pact Magic, or Patron Magic. Granted by beings more powerful than you. While certain patrons are more powerful, the exact benefits of each pact are unique (Most of the time).
