Stierschlittenrennen

[Venturing out into the cold winter night I did not really expect to run into anyone, or anything, because nothing should crawl out at this time of day. I kept my hands in my pockets, trying to conseve the heat of my body, and briskyly strode along, as it was not a good idea to spend a long time out in the cold. But when I heard the thundering of hooves in the night I was intrigued, as to who or what would start a chase on horse this late at night. Cautiosly moving on I found myself face to face with a massive bull, which was charging down the alleyway I passed by that very moment. I jumped and could avoid getting trampled by this beast just by pure chance of luck. Getting up out of the snow, brushing the mud off my cloak, I could see a small one man sled tied to the bull, which was currently unmanned and shooting around the next corner to disapear out of sight.]

Komponenten und Hilfsmittel

Most of the time the participants just use the sleds, which are available to them and at the same time not too big or to heavy, so they can be the faster and thus the first.

Teilnehmer

There are of course the drivers and/or pokers, who get the sled going and keep it that way.

Einhaltung

They are only observable when the temperatures allow a normal sled to drive around, though there were instances where it was performed in the desert.
