Dagorell

"The Heart of Prosperity"

At the southern edge of the Freemantle of Hariel Majour, lies the city-state of Dagorell, the "capitol" of the sub-region known as Prosperity. A member-city of the Democracy of Wheat, Dagorell is nonetheless extremely independently minded on most matters, and is sort of the red-headed stepchild of the Freemantle.
It is a rough-and-tumble city, known more for its crime than its crops and trade, ruled by a magistrate known as "The Griffon." The current "Griffon" is the human male, Archis Rostel of House Rostel. House Rostel is one of the richest houses in the Barony of Rocha, and as such, Dagorell keeps strong ties with Cornelia (often to the consternation of the remainder of the Freemantle).
It is said that the Thornblack assassins' guild, as well as the Zanzakkar thieves' guild, both hold offices in the city proper.

70% human, 20% elf, halfling, half-elf and dwarf, and 10% other (half-orc, tiefling, changeling, etc)

Government

Run by a local Magistrate who is often also the city's council representative on the Council of the Freemantle.
