Golgurrent

Golgurrent is a massive world caught spinning in between two binary stars locked in a dancing orbit around each other. Bejeweled with three moons and home to a dizzying amount of diversity in flora, fauna and sentient creatures Golgurrent is at the heart of a solar system brimming with potent magical vortexes. While inhabited with many species and fraught with portals to all manner of planar neighbors it is most notably shadowed by the sparse knowledge that Golgurrent is not alone in the vastness of the heavenly void of space.   Made up of mostly various terrestrial biomes and only one large ocean with an additional large lake Golgurrent has a single island continent known as Terramount. Once seen as a paradise for explorers and adventurers and an untapped, endless font of wealth for merchants, Terramount is now home to the most violent and extreme end points of all racial and cultural spectrums. Home to the world infamous Blood Soaked Mountains of Ooar, the world's collective dumping grounds for all things unwanted and aberrant, Terramount is a proving grounds for anything wishing to determine its fortitude, whether it be individuals, groups, countries or even species.   On the cusp of many major revolutions in magical and scientific fields Golgurrent as a whole is a diverse petri dish of the cosmic wheel's best and worst qualities. From Devils and Aberrations lurking in wait for a chance to spill into mortal affairs, to Demon Princes straining to gain purchase on the material plane and wreak havoc, to the Planar forces of good working tirelessly to keep evil at bay; Golgurrent is beset on all sides by powerful individuals seeking to carve their names into history.
