Golarion

Centered on the island of Kortos, in the grand city of Absalom, the party will explore Golarion hopping from Aiudara to Aiudara. They will be embroiled in the politics of the Arcanamirium and of the city of Absalom itself. They will fight devils or befriend them. Spy on the hives of scum and villainy across the city and the lands they explore. all the while being hunted by the dark dreams and waking nightmares that some bring with them.  

The cast of characters:

Erastil "Eras"

- a middle aged human driver who recently discovered a knack for the arcane at the urging of Magiya, his mysterious patron, a docent and professor of the arcane at the famed Arcanamirium, school of Magic in Absalom.  

Morwenna

- a half-drow bogwitch charlatan. She used to eek out a meager living by pawning off simple home remedies or placebos to the unsuspecting dullards of Magnimar. That is, until one night she stumbled her way into the Dimension of Dreams in her sleep and let loose an unknown number of waking, sentient Nightmares upon the waking world. In the wake of her mistake, she made, perhaps, another mistake. She made a promise to The Lady of The Sands. The keeper and guardian of the nightmares Morwenna had released. The promise binds her to the Lady of The Sands, granting her true magic, but also compelling her to find and collect all of the Nightmares, she once accidentally released.  

Kura

- A tiefling woman, hailing from a noble Chelish family. Kura, ever defying her noble mother did not agree to the arranged marriage and child birth that had been arranged by her mother with great skill. There were to be great plans. But Kura refused. In response her mother tracked her down, and forced Kura into a blood binding to her "Husband", a low ranking Devil devoted to Asmodeus. Her new husband soon forced himself upon her and Kura bore his child. This child was summarily ripped from Kura's arms and Kura was forced to leave her family home, now exiled. The only connection to her family Kura still has is a brother named Zeronai whom she has not seen in some time.  

Stark

- a Kayal (Fetchling) with a dubious past. Stark was caught up in a violent gang of thieves and killers dedicated to Asmodeus. When Stark expressed his desire to leave to a friend, that friend betrayed Stark. The friend arranged for Stark to be made sacrifice to a Devil that he had just made a contract with. This sacrifice killed Starks lover and sent Stark to one of the layers of Hell. It did not kill Stark, but sent his body and soul straight to Hell. Stark managed to stay alive, barely, fighting in one of the gladatorial pits of Hell and making deals with other damned souls and even a few devils. Eventually one of these deals brought Stark into a position to steal the "key" to his deliverance from Hell. Now, recently returned to Golarion, Stark has vowed revenge upon the bastard who betrayed him and those that helped him. Unfortunately it had been a longer time than Stark had originally thought. It has been 30 years. His former friend has done well for himself and set himself up as a pit boss for the Bloody Barbers, one of the most violent and notorious thieves and assassins guilds in all of Avistan, and they are stationed in Absalom.
