The Accidental Kidnapping of House Claude

The Accidental Kidnapping of House Claude is a skirmish that happened during the early Gold Age. The whole skirmish is a complete accident and misunderstanding between house Claude and house Kee. The misunderstanding became so crucial that the two houses almost broke into a battle. Luckily, the battle was ended before it even commenced since the misunderstanding was resolved. The events of the skirmish were recorded and kept in the Hall of Memories.

The Conflict

Prelude

The skirmish truly began when the tension began to build between house Claude and house Kee. House Kee controlled the Road of Alliance, a stone arch bridge that connects the Western Realm with the Central Realm. The head family of house Claude was traveling to the Western Realm through the Road of Alliance. The lord of house Claude distrusted house Kee as they have some history. The mistrust between the houses grew the tension, and when the misunderstanding came, the two houses fought.

Deployment

Although house Kee wasn't as powerful and wealthy as house Claude, house Kee had more troops at their disposal. A large part of house Kee's soldiers were either at the city by the bridge or near the city. On the other hand, house Claude only had the troops who were with them on the trip. In military power, house Kee outmatched house Claude.

Battlefield

Before the battle began, house Claude retreated to the Central Realm side of the bridge. House Kee stayed on the Western Realm side of the bridge. The battle was planned to take place on the bridge.

Conditions

The whole skirmish began when the children of lord Claude, a boy and a girl, accidentally fell into the great river and float away. Due to their absence and the tension that already existed, lord Claude accused house Kee of the kidnapping of his children, and house Kee denied. Lord Claude treated war unless house Kee returns the children, and house Kee kept denying lord Claude's claim. Fortunately, the children returned to the bridge before the battle began.

Aftermath

This event became stories that were told for children as time went on.
