Taking the hit of the dice

Taking the hit of the dice, or slap roulette, is a game invented in the land of Skoutan somewhere during the great conquering of Xeakruoth. It was invented by a couple of soldiers that where bored on the battlefront and wanted a real challenge. These days Taking the hit of the dice is knows all over the world and mosty played in the local tavern by the drunk, usually for who is going to pay for the ale.
The game is played as followed:
  1. The two contesters both place a bet on who they think is gong to win the game.
  2. A starting player is chosen by a coinflip.
3.Both roll a six sided dice and hide the result from the other.
  4. The starting player must now choose either his own result or that of his opponent. Which is still unknown to him. The total amount of the dice on the side he chooses will represent the amount of times his opponent gets to hit him. Thus how many hits from of the dice he will take
  5. Both players must now declare of they think the starting player will stay conscious or not. If the starter players think he wont stay conscious he automatically loses the game and his opponent wins.
  6. If the starting player thinks he will survive, the opponent gets to choose. Stay or fall. After he chooses he hits the starting player equal to the rolled number on the chosen dice. If he was right he wins the round. If he was wrong the starter player wins.
This means that if the hitter bets on stay but he does knock his opponent unconscious he loses the bet and the now unconscious player wins.
It is an unwriten rule that you must always try your best when hitting the opponent.
This game has survived many years, unlike some of those who played it. It is also why most tavern forbid playing it inside.
