The Skipprmani people's livelihood is the sea. From a humble human tribal setting they grew to a vast empire sprawling across the Glad Sea. Ordinarily a peaceful tribe, the Skipprmani coveted luxury. Civilizations that did not trade their precious or rare resources were conquered without impunity. If the Skipprmani couldn't get it peacefully, they would get it by force.
