The Mining Post

  Gildenaar is a fertile river valley that runs from the Traedor Mountains east to the Glad Sea. Inhabited by the Skipprmani tribe of humans, the mineral-rich mountains brought wealth and trade into the area, attracting a smorgasbord of races and lifestyles. The mountain city Auramontis was the capital until The Calamity. Traveling west from the Traedors we reach the Old Fern Forest and the village of Tannendale; north to the amber goblin hills of the Ravfeller, south to the south plain and Everskare, and to the coast Raeda Port.

Skipprmani Refuge

  During the First Age of Sail, the seafaring Skipprmani tribe grew to a great empire that stretched across the Glad Sea. But catastrophe turned the very sea against them, and they were forced to take refuge inland, and the great empire broke into pieces. Much of the tribe, and any other nearby ship, sought refuge in Raeda Port as the Tritons claimed the sea their own. In the sixty-first year of the Drought of the Sea, a brave band of adventurers reunited the tritons with the Heart of the Ocean, making peace with them for the sake of the Skipprmani people and opening up the Glad sea once more. Auramontis, along the Traedors, remained the capital city of the great tribe until The Calamity.
