Miluna (Mee-loo-nah)
4th Guard (a.k.a. Mina/Mailu)
Miluna is the only child of Inina and Zairo. Her parents used to be high level Guards for the royal family. After each were awarded titles they decided instead of leaving to become the main trainer and teacher of the Grand guard.
This is all they knew, so they raised their daughter like they trained their subjects.
This means that from birth she was brought up to be a warrior. Not just fighting, but also strategizing and assessing people and everything else that came with it. She was the perfect Guard, however the royal family only had 1 daughter and that was before Miluna was born.
4th Prince had been notoriously picky about his guard. He had declined every option. As a last resort Miluna was brought in. For some reason this worked and she was chosen as 4th Guard. Something quite unusual since Guards tend to be the same sex to avoid scandal.
Growing up Miluna was very close to 4th Prince and then also became close with 1st Prince. She got to know the family quite well and adapted to Palace life with as much ease as possible.
At age 15 she learn of the impending attack by Murida and asks to be sent out as a spy. She joins a rebel gang in Murida that don't want war against Kirian. She desguises herself as a man while she's there and the living conditions she finds herself in helps to desguise her further. She and unbeknownst to her, 2 other spies, get word to Killien about the ambush that Murida is planning and she stays undercover for the entire 6 years of the war.
After the war ends, she stays in Murida to ensure that the situation stabilizes before she goes off into the world.
The things she experienced in Murida opened her eyes to what the world is actually like and she wanted to experience more.
First she went west onto the mainland to see what that's like. To get there she passed through Xingan, Kehia and Nan.
Arriving on the mainland she realized how big Kehia was and spent some time exploring.
On her way back she passed through Briaria where she met Oriana who she recognized from childhood. Oriana was traveling to Kehia and Miluna decided to accompany her, since she seemed so gullible. They became fast friends.
After seeing Oriana off Miluna traveled East. She felt to guilty to pass through Kirian without going to see the King, so instead she took a boat to Shiber. She explored Shiber for a while and then started traveling down to Nurukad when she started hearing disturbing news of Nurukad being taken over by Shur, who had taken over the entire South East.
Getting close to Nurukad she realized that the news was true and started traveling again. Once she got to Leiba, an ally, she sent an urgent letter to Killien letting him know that she was traveling home.
Currently she got picked up at the edge of Kirian by a parade that's traveling the ceremonial (slow) way up to Teriflor to receive her honor and title.

She was trained by her parents from the moment she was born. Since her parents are the main trainer and teacher of the Grand Guard, they made sure she was capable from the start. She was not only trained physically, but also mentally and emotionally to be an immovable force.
Then in the Palace she was in almost every class that 4th Prince was in as well as Guard training. She learned about politics, business, horse riding, archery, math and more.
There were certain classes she would take with 2nd Princess and 2nd Guard, since they were the only girls of her age in the Palace. There she would learn embroidery, painting, medicine mixing, and etiquette for women.
