Elsie Marks Washington (a.k.a. Fiddler)
Elsie Marks 'Fiddler' Washington, one of the most well known musicians in the last 100 years. Born in her family home, in the Whitehowler Outpost Delta-2. The young woman led a adventure filled life, becoming both a well known Whitehowler Mercenary, and a world renowned fiddler, before her death at the hands of a monster wave when she was 45.
The two had a 6 year romance, and Elsie found herself realizing what she missed. Deciding to leave the Whitehowler Mercenaries and move to Heimatwelt and marry the now 26 year old Andre. A week before she was supposed to retire, and on her 45th birthday, she was sent to the Monster Portal. Where, soon after she arrived, a massive monster wave, the largest in a hundred years, struck.

Death
Elsie, along with a handful of the older Whitehowlers were transferred to the Monster Portal. Old warriors with decades of experience. Even they couldn't withstand what came out of the portal. Hundreds of thousands of monsters, bullets flew without pause. Guns melted and overheated, as the defenders were picked off by arrows, flame, magic, and flying creatures. More than had been seen in the current century. The Heimatwelters that were there were quickly dispatched, as they didnt have time to Rage. The Whitehowlers, having more experience held out longer at times even stopping the advances. But alas, it was simply a delaying battle. Some escaped, many didn't. A clean up crew that sent in later, found Elsie, impaled by 4 swords and a spear, which kept her standing. Her Queen Boa revolvers were empty, and even the Valcro she carried had fired its last. Her personal swords were broken, in her hand, clenched so tightly that when they did get it out, it had permanent indents from her fingers, was a bloody combat knife she had picked up from one of the Heimatwelters. The estimate for her kill count was set upwards of 1500, as records show her manning a Wimban, and later a Patton.Physical Description
Body Features
A smaller, lanky woman, with a six pack of abs. Elsie was buff, though she hid it under baggy clothes, to hide her combat prowess. Especially when she was playing violin. She had freckles across her shoulders. She could also sometimes pass as a male, if her hair was put up and her bandana was over her face.
Facial Features
Elise had freckles splattered across the bridge of her nose, and just under her cheeks. She had a small nose, and a smooth jawline.
Apparel & Accessories
Elsie wore the common clothing of the Whitehowlers when not on a mission. Including a long duster, Leather pants and cowboy boots. Along with gloves and a bandana, though she never really put it over her mouth. During what she called 'Hunting', she wore two shoulder holsters, along with her Maiti no jōnetsuan blades, which hung from her left hip.
When she played concerts, she wore a black tailcoat suit, with a dark blue button up shirt and a golden tie and gloves. A purple flower on her lapel. Her boots had been customized to have small, yet incredibly sharp blades in the toes.

Specialized Equipment
When Elsie was 'Hunting' she carried dual .357 Queen Boa revolvers, and a Maiti no jōnetsuan blade-set. Along with a handful of smaller knives and what not. Depending on the level of the mission, she would carry a Valcro submachine gun.
When fiddling, she carried her personal Violin that Honmosia, the Goddess of Honor gave her, and a specialized bow that hid a short, thin blade/

Personal history
Born to John and Laura Washington, Elsie was the youngest of 4 kids. She went to the school in WOD-2, where she participated in the Outpost band, throughout high school. Once she was of age, she moved to Fort Macallen, and registered with the guild at the age of 18. Her equipment was learned to be feared by those she hunted, earning the nickname 'High Queen Boa' from her targets. She was also given the callsign Fiddler due to her musical talent, which she used both for missions, and for fun. Becoming one of the most highly requested musicians during her time, taking gigs everywhere in the world. She was sent to help defend the Monster portal, during one of the hardest waves of a hundred years. During the overwhelming attack Elsie was pushed back, and driven through by orcs. When the Whitehowlers returned they found Elsie, propped up by the swords of the orcs, surrounded by dead monsters. Her revolvers empty and her sword broken. She was buried in the WOD-2 grave yard, and given a statue in the hall of Whitehowlers.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Elsie is called 'The greatest fiddler' by many, even a hundred years later. She wrote many musical pieces, and did remakings of folk songs from many countries. Playing all sorts of genres.
Credited with over 400 completed missions, Elsie is also well known for her dedication to her job. Completing every mission she took.
Elsie once received a gift from Honmosia, the goddess of Honor. A very fancy violin. Surprisingly, this was the violin she used when she held out in a theater.

You were right, this was tragic. Died on the last mission before leaving and on your own birthday. It can't get much better than that. A nice article. I would have been pleased if the relationship had been more detailed and had been reflected in the personal history. For example, where and how they met. But even so, it's very nice.
