Captain Abigail Briar Bonnet-Teach (a.k.a. Abigail Crow)
Abigail Crow is the adopted daughter of
Averyll Crow and
Edward Bonnet-Teach. During his last pillage, Averyll Crow robbed a ship with a sea witch onboard. She brought a curse upon Abigail, proclaiming that Abigail would die a dreadful death upon the ocean. Averyll feared what he had done and abandoned his ship and crew. Together with Edward and Abigail, he moved further inland - far away from the ocean as possible.
During her childhood, Abigail was not interested in books and the life of an academic as her fathers might have wanted for her. Instead, she enjoyed doing acrobatics and doing athletics. She figured out how to move within the shadows and how to hide and skulk in dim lighting. With her fathers tales of the adventures upon the sea, Abigail began to envision such a life for herself. However, her parents forbid it and had plans to move further inland, farther away from her beloved sea.
At the age of eighteen, she ran away from home and moved to Saltmarsh. As young and dumb as she was, she burrowed 10.000 gp to buy her beloved bird
Icarus. However, without money and connections in a new town, she ended up working for
Kreb Shrenker. and the smuggling bussiness as a fencer. Her skills with her words - either as persuasion, intimidation, or deception - improved, though, she is not as skillful as her expertise with acrobatics and athletics.
During an obligatory training session in Saltmarsh, Abigail was brought into a group consisting of
Thetis,
Emmett Hawthorne,
Filias, and
Desmond. Together, they succeeded their final task and battled pirates at the beach to free the people they had taken captive. After their encounter with the pirates, they decided to form a party to help city of Saltmarsh and uncover its mysteries.
Physical Description
Abigail is agile and fit.
A worn, brown leather coat and a grey large-brimmed hat. Underneath, she wears a off-white shirt, black pants, and black boots. Moreover, she now wears a magical black cloack, which protects her.
At her left side, she wears her rapier, in her boots, her daggers, and on her back, a heavy crossbow and 20 bolts.
Around her shoulders, she wears a magical cloak, which brings protection to her in dire situations.

Abigal is pansexual. She does not care about her partner's gender and gender identity. Although, it has been a common theme that she has fallen in love with handsome, villainous and morally grey men.
Abigail has recieved a common education, which has left her with the ability to read and write. Moreover, she has recieved an education to sail boats and ships.

History
Abigal burrowed 10.000 gp from Natalie Patton, or rather, from someone who works for Natalie Patton.
On the 7th Reaping 590 Common Year, one of Patton's henchmen approached Abigail in a dark alleyway with a proposition. If Abigail killed the guards in the prison and broke Sigurd Slangeøje and Bjørn out of prison, 500 gp would be struck of her debt.
On the 8th Reaping, Abigail failed to do so, and Patton took matters into their own hands.
On the 22th Harvester, Thetis found the beheaded head of Sanbalet on the party's ship (see Sea Ghost ). The rest of the party was summoned by one of the crew members. A mariner from the Mariner's Guild whispered into Abigail's ear that Patton will have their will, no matter what.
History
For a time, Abigail worked for Kreb Shrenker. She was a fencer for some of the smuggling businesses that happened near the bay.
