14th Session

General Summary

The group returning from Sanctuary collects Adrie and prepares to leave town. They check in with Salley and Tauflin back at the mansion, where the nails are being stored. Salley offers the group more delivery work to inland natives, but they decline for the time being, and decide to head to Waterdeep. It takes them one full day walking south along the jagged coastline to reach Shining. Along the way, it drizzles, and they encounter a giant constrictor snake and a swarm of four-legged insects with bat wings (stirges). To get rid of the latter, Aster puts some to sleep, and Adrie crushes some with a moon beam which also puts her out of commission, and crushes Lucius’ leg, giving him a limp. Arriving at city limits after dark, the party pays off the guards at the gate, and are directed toward the Holy Mackerel at the docks – there is no room for elves in the center of town.
