The Kingdom of Doregul

The dwarves of Doregul (Dor-e-gul) were much the same as any other dwarven society when they first arrived in Elion nearly nine centuries ago. Industrious and pioneering, they first settled in the mineral rice mountains of central Elion and continued expanding downwards. Consumed by their search for mineral wealth, they hardly paid attention to the intrusion of a large contingent of dragonborn, from the recently fallen Boralis, a few hundred years later. These dragonborn settled in the vast valley within the Howling Mountains and learned to live peacefully with the dwarves as both races more or less left each other alone. This all changed, however, when the monstrosities started to emerge from the dwarf's tunnels and the valley's caves. United against a common enemy, the dwarves and dragonborn found a new kinship. Fighting together they managed to turn back the initial hordes of monsters. However, when demons began to also appear amongst the hordes years later their fortunes began to turn. And so began the Lost Ones War. After the Lost Ones War, the dwarven society was torn apart into three distinct the sections; the Ul-Dwur, the Son-Dwur and the Wel-Dwur.
