Gehenna

Gehenna, a small planet orbiting a yellow star, in former Galactic Sector 857. Once part of the Terran Empire, having been founded in Empire Year (E.Y. 1218), during the Golden Years of the Empire. With the death of the Golden Emperor, and the collapse of the Polaris Sisterhood, Gehenna like countless other worlds, became isolated from the greater galaxy. They became ruled for over 1500 hundred years by the Fire worshiping, Order of the Unnamed Goddess. Who herself is reborn every ten years in mortal form to rule the people, and ten years of rest where the Sister Superior rules in her stead. It is here on Gehenna, during the 51st Cycle of the Unnamed Goddess that Bastian, the boy with sapphire eyes arrives, to unknowingly fulfill a prophecy by the Augur, Jeno'su. A prophecy that will bring about the fall of the Order. History while isolated has continued to grow, and evolve, as unique individuals arise throughout Gehenna's history, even though by the time Bastian arrives, most of that history has been forgotten.
