Garandou

Garandou as a whole is quite an odd circumstance, somehow managing to be several things at once - a world, universe, or environment in the traditional sense of such things; a concept at and beyond the frayed edges of human capacity for observation as they are currently; a philosophical happenstance or thought experiment provided form and basis; an extreme of hypothetical physics, simplified into something tangible, verifiable, demonstrable, and capable of being meaningfully interacted with - but at the end of all such things, Garandou can be described with two simple words that are much easier to understand, colloquially.   The Omniverse.   Garandou is all - but more than that, it is all possible things; all possible universes; all possible instants along the direction that most would know as "time"; all possible permutations and arrangements of matter, energy, and even the things that I as a human author could not possibly pretend to comprehend well enough to include in such a vast description of "all".   Garandou as a world concept built by me, Kitaen Silva, was born from subtle connections, links, and coincidences across all of my various lores and stories regardless of which universe, time, or place they had occurred. It is something to facilitate existing connections - my overcomplicated-yet-oversimplified answer to why certain things happened the way they did, when and why they did, and how they did.   Garandou as it might be described by someone native to the environment, however, might be slightly different. It is a place between the places, a space between the spaces. It is the globe which contains everything, and the membrane through which one must inevitably leap by some means if they hope to cross planes, universes, realms, and other such things.   It simply is, generally uncaring of what occurs within itself, for universes are born, live, breathe, and die as harmlessly, as normally, and even as unnoticed as individual cells within the human body do the very same, typically unnoticed to the human comprised of these cells.   But much the same as a living creature can develop a cancer - accumulations of cells forming into benign or malignant clusters of tumorous mass - so too can Garandou contract similar problems as of late.   Something had begun to stir from a particular trio of "cells" in Garandou - a universe known as Mercatia, a universe known as Laniakea, and a universe known as Siderial. This unprecedented stirring would later be identified as malignant in nature, and the exact scope of its effect, reach, and intent might never be fully known...   ...all that is certain is that much has already been lost, and the stakes are ever-higher as the natural course of things becomes more bent and twisted out of shape.
