History

Game of Tomes 2020

House Avis participated in Game of Tomes 2020. It was the fourth House to fall to the Undead Horde, with its leader being an unfortunate victim of zombification. The members of House Avis who fell to the Horde were cured of their zombification when House Mollusca claimed the Iron Tome.

House Avis participated in the Tourney of Tales in April of 2021.

House Avis participated in the Tourney of Tales in July of 2021.

Game of Tomes 2021

House Avis did not participate in the 2021 Game of Tomes.

The leaders of both Houses worked closely together during the Battle of the Book and the 50K Offensive, and have at least established general goodwill and mutual respect. However, there is a small faction in Avis that dislikes or distrusts the Mother of Bunnies for some reason, and Lapin senses that tension.

There is some noticeable tension between Avis and Meles. The Regent of Avis seems to have had some sort of axe to grind against Meles, but seems to at least be willing to put it aside and give them a chance, after they connected during The Third Word War. Meles doesn't seem to bear them the same hostility, but there is a certain... awkwardness.

Military Alliance

Avis and Mollusca have no reason to like or dislike each other. There is a certain degree of mutual respect between the two Regents and the Scion, after working together in The Battle of the Book and The 50K Offensive but they have not sought any further connection.

Fealty Relationship

Relations are excellent between the Birbs and the Dinos. After their leaders put aside an ancient dispute, working together has been of demonstrable mutual benefit to both parties, since the Sauropoda-Avis Alliance currently holds The Iron Tome . Avis is in fealty to Sauropoda, and the Dinos have wisely treated them more like partners than servants. The Birbs were granted a significant area of Sauropoda's Protectorate as their own. However, the Dinos do make it clear who is in charge, and the Birbs are chomping at the bit a little.

The Regent of Avis is suspected of being a member of the Self Care Mafia. As a result, Avis tends to be strongly supportive of the Mafia's agenda - which works for them.

Avis ↔ Chaos Cartel

Well Disposed

For the most part, Avis and the Cartel ignore each other, but they don't have any particular problems with each other. Avis appreciates the Cartel's message and tends to be good at motivating themselves, so they don't tend to run into conflicts. The Regent is also highly respected by the Cartel for her encouragement work, and has been given the title "The Phoenix" as a result.
