A world ravaged by the dragon campaign, the gods sought to give them some respite, until the fall of star's destroyed what peace there was. Now, in the 3rd age, the seas are covered in myst, and the continent of Viate is all on it's own. Now, it need heroes, to save it from the creatures of the night that have woken from the destruction of the dawn star.   With the dawn republic to the south, seeking to maintain the traditions of the old world, and the nation of Cheliax who wishes to survive by any means possible. The city-state of waterdeep sits nestled near the inner sea, trading and using its economic power to keep the other nations away. The coalition have formed a tenacious alliance in order to keep the other nations from rolling them over,and a few other nation hide in the shadows, seeking to gain enough power to step into the light.   Now guilds and heroes rise up. Seeking to make there way in this new world. The Heroes Guild, headed by Angelous, hope to bring a new era of peace, while the league of explorers hope to find lost artifacts from the old world.
