Galdûr

Galdûr is a land in conflict. It has always been so. From the days before time where Giants and Dragons fought for supremacy til the fall of the Sindarin Elves. All the land has ever known is a constant struggle between chaos and order, wilderness and civilization. Numerous kingdoms and empires has risen and fallen, built on top of ruins of long forgotten peoples.   Now in its fifth age, all this has been forgotten.   Ever since the false god Vecna failed in his attempts to cast the prime material plane into darkness the world has recovered. Lulled into a false sense of security. Old alliances are forgotten and swords grow dull, but in the darkness new horrors await. Tales of dragons and monsters arrive from the fringes of society, in the night cultists gather and chant their prayers to unspeakable evils. Now is a time to take action, before the world is cast into darkness again. Now is a time of heroes.
