Tome of Tales Season 1   For hundreds of years, the world of Gaius was in chaos. The world is a living god, and that god was angry. And no one understood why. Storms raged, oceans receded and surged wildly, the landscape changed from night to night with mountains and rivers appearing at random, and the people were afraid. No one could travel for fear of never making it home again, as even the stars in the sky moved night to night. And what resources were available were fought over and fiercely guarded. The gods sought a way to end the chaos and save their mortal followers, but the world was a difficult place live. It wasn’t until two hundred years ago that the storms calmed and the landscape stilled thanks to the efforts of a small group of heroes.   In the wake of what the world now refers to as The Rage, the world’s population grew exponentially and surged into a whirlwind of technological advances. Alliances were made and infrastructure was put in place to link the different nations of the world for the first time in an age. The world has found a sort of order, guided by the gods and their servants, referred to as the Demis, who have been granted powers for the great deeds they have performed. Or haven’t performed, for some. Each Demi has their own story that have become renowned as legends and carried over from the old world and continue to be beacons leading the world of Gaius into an age of prosperity as people spread from large city centers out into the unexplored country.   But the stars still move overhead, an omen to some that the Rage is not yet over. Only time will tell. And there are some stories are still waiting to be told.
