Restoration has come slowly after the collapse. Powerful magics infect the land, thriving on the chaos of natural restoration, while magickless society struggles to keep it's boundaries from being overrun by the wilds.   Fae run the Wildlands, mountain dwellers lie in wait to ambush travelers, the deserts have grown vast and un-passable. Fungal patches have taken over much of the fallen kingdoms and are viewed as poisonous and untouchable by humanoids, lest they befall a ghastly fate.   In the place of the old kingdoms, new ones arise, the power vacuum demands it. The lands just outside of every town are seething with adventure, danger and histories that are being lost to the sands of time.
