Gaia

A world that homed many spectacular creatures, from towering mountains to the deepest oceans. It is a world with a past shrouded in mystery. The greatest historians and archaeologists work tirelessly to uncover the mysterious history of Gaia.   But we know~   When the creatures of Gaia learned how to access The World Between, they began collecting its power and bringing it to Gaia. This eventually led to the great calamity.   They say the sun turned black and the beasts emerged from every corner of the planet. A world consumed in darkness until all that remained was ash and stone.   However, now, after thousands of years of regrowth and evolution, there are two major continents; one to the west and the other to the east. The Western Continent is a land full of fortune and prosperity, whereas The Eastern Continent is a land wartorn and full of hardship.   The Mad King, Farron is harvesting as much of the lands natural resources to fund his war machines for his eventual attack the West. This has brought upon extreme conditions for the wildlife and the small villages that rely on the forests and mines for their people.
