Gaia

The world is set in a pseudo-Victorian period, where many bits and pieces of technology that were invented in the Victorian era are being invented here. The main difference is that there is also a strong magical presence in other countries which the main country is strongly opposed to. The protagonist is a princess in this anti-magical country, currently second in line to the throne. The King has determined that it's time for her to find a husband (since apparently it's impossible for her to function on her own) and is holding a tournament among the nobility in order to determine who gets to marry her. Among the guests for the tournament is Prince Malachi, from the south of the country. He and his attendants compete in the tournament, all while trying to encourage diplomacy between their country and the one they're visiting, as well as gradually growing closer to the princess. As the tournament goes on and tension skyrockets, Malachi and his attendants learn more about the princess- and she learns more about them, including just how much friends and family really mean.
