Gaia - Monster Mom

Gaia is a world where the modern worlds meets the fantastical one. Relativity and quantum physics still govern much of the natural world, but magic can change that from time to time. While there are many creatures and people who can use magic instinctively, it wasn’t until researchers were able to separate the magic from the science that any real progress could be made.   Humans are as we know them. As diverse as can be imagined, with all of the good, the bad, and in between that accompanies it. Unfortunately, there are many creatures that have been lost to extinction, as were many humans with magical affinity. Unfortunately, with so few survivors, the superstitions remain unchecked.   For the surviving creatures, and the developing class of mages, they still have a hard life working to correct the bad stereotypes, and superstitions.
