The Lost Sector

The Lost Sector is a large solar system that resides in a nebula bordered pocket dimension that is outside normal space and time. Yet its boarders touch everywhere and when from all universes, both real and fictional.   Many different planets seem to come and go from here, and as The Lost Sector has its own personal time stream, no one knows when the planet they are on will arrive back into its normal spot, if it ever does. From an observer on the outside, a neighboring planet could disappear for thousands of years, spending only one day in The Lost Sector. Or the opposite could happen, you planet could only vanish for a blink to them, and spend a millennia here.

Geography

The Lost Sector is a HUGE solar system that could hold hundreds of planets at once. At its center is a pair of suns known to the people of Géfyra as The Dancing Suns. They are a Blue and a Red star that twist and spin in an orbit around each other.   Planets that appear here do not orbit around the stars, but are stationary where they entered. They still spin on their axis like they had in their home system, as well as their moons orbit around them perfectly fine, but for some reason they do not continue their orbital rotation. Some theorize that the planets still have some sort of spacial tether to their system as their gravity and temperature do no change from the planets norm, no matter their proximity to the suns or new worlds around them. In fact they still seem to go through their normal seasons as if their normal orbits, from when they were pulled, also came with them. Though their seasons seem to stay the same, the light they receive does differ, which has caused some confusion as to how this leaves the world unaffected in all other ways. While the day and night sky may look different, due to the planet having its normal rotation, their days remain the same.   Due to the nebula dust cloud that surrounds the solar system, the night sky from almost every planet is a wonder to see, filled with many other worlds, with a dimly light background of the reflection of the suns softly glimmering off the many different colors in the dust.
