The Fissure

This is the equator on Géfyra where lava is released from the core of the planet and drifts up to form the continents that spread across the globe. Not everything that is released becomes a full continent though, meaning that there are thousands of different islands and reefs all over here that raise and lower randomly. Due to this, it is an extremely dangerous area to sail through, even for the most talented of captains. There are a few ways around this area though. You can either fly across it, sail through the canals on the west of Potestas (this will take you some time to sail through though), or, saying that you are traveling south to north, dock in the south of Potestas and travel north to another port and find a ship from there elsewhere.
This area of the world seems to be filled with tons of pirates, as well as those looking for their own piece of solitude on a personal island, even as dangerous as it is.

Geography

Very tropical in nature. Bright blue water, beach surrounded islands sporting palms. Some even having volcanoes, mountains, and cliffs.
