What if the only star we'll ever truly visit is our own? What if the world we have to save is this one? And who do we have to save it from?
After passing the brink of warfare and the jumping point where technology no longer serves, the many peoples of Core Terra have lost their only home. As the survivors fled to struggling, impoverished habitats in a field of junk and war debris, they witnessed the planet reborn beneath them. Each of Core Terra's moons were similarly ravaged and revised by wild technology, some in ways far less compatible to previous forms of life. What was believed at first to be a engineered plague tore through the habs, but it left the survivors far more resilient and adaptable, albeit deprived of long-term memory and history.
The First or "Genesis Generation" stabilized and organized the habs into three governments. The "Innovator Generation" that followed discovered and codified the gift of magic given to all people. You are the Third Generation. With a chance to build a new society on Core Terra or its many moons, will we make better ones this time? Or will war, greed, and ruin return with new faces... or worse, from ghosts of old?
Like what you see? I'd appreciate a Ko-Fi or two.
