Raddings Manor

The Raddings Manor is an imposing three-story block stone building that used to oversee agricultural lands before misfortune made them sell land parcel by parcel, and Mumbee grew up around them. Bellor Raddings kept hold of the manor and the horse breeding lands and left them to his grandson Fragio Raddings who now runs the manor as a seasonal clubhouse and built a track with bleachers for horse racing and gambling.

The manor house hosts parties, games, and the occasional grand ball. Polished stone and wood is accentuated with seasonal flowers and ribbons. Buffets are full of hearty, simply-prepared local foods, like roasted meats and vegetables, bread rolls, and candied fruit or shortbread cookies.

Bellor held on to the manor and horses, but Fragio has made them profitable beyond his grandfather's dreams. With only three children of his own, Fragio is the extended family's favorite uncle. He apprentices four or five nieces and nephews at a time, teaching them business, horse grooming, hospitality, and gaming.
