Motivation
Byron helped his father haul goods from Lindbergh Farms to The Lake Kanten Retreat and Talasar in the early Autumn. Crossing the desert when Byron was ten years old, the caravan was attacked by Orc raiders and Byron's father was murdered. Byron tried to fight but was tied up and hauled back to Kai-axe Mine where he was forced to work.
Byron escaped five years later with a gang on friends he grew up with in the mine, mostly Half-Orcs. The loudest and most social of the gang, Byron became their leader.
Returning home after his forced absence, Byron found his mother living in squalor. Byron gave her the money and supplies his gang had acquired on the road and promised to return with more. It took years of fighting, working, hunting, and thieving to buy his mother a villa on the Kenta coast. With his mother settled, Byron continues with the lifestyle he built for himself. He is thankful to be free and thankful his mother is safe and cared for, but those aren't reasons to back off from the glory he knows he is due.
