The Outlawed Language; Ejurin (E.Yu.Rin.)

Ministry of Language has issued a decree of outlawing Ejurin (E.yu.rin.), a language commonly used by those that live by the sea and the northern of Frantumare. It is outlawed due to the language vocabulary to be gibberish and the writing appears to be chicken scratch.
However, the main reason it is outlawed is by religious means. The Ministry of Religion ruled out the language as the language of the demons. Since the nature of Ejurin sounds gruff and intelligible to others, a case was built and the Ministry of Religion provided evidence to support this claim. Evidence such as the presence of demons right after someone utters a word from the language.
The Ministry of Religion convinced the public and further pressured the Ministry of Language to outlaw Ejurin to prevent any unwanted encounter with demons. A statement was released, but it was not taken seriously by the public at first. The Ministry of Religion proceeds to punish those that speak Ejurin by cutting off their tongues or damaging the vocal cords by drinking poison.

The decree is issued by the Ministry of Language and supported by the Ministry of Religion. Under the Law of Language and Religious Utterance, the decree is valid.

The Outlawed Language; Ejurin

DECREE-LAW 142 OF XEFITH 4th, ERA 2.

The Ministry of Language has adopted the following Decree-Law:

BANNING OF EJURIN AS AN OFFICIAL LANGUAGE,

CONSIDERING:

That the action of the Ministry of Language has a nationalistic and independent orientation, founded on the firm protection of our national sovereignty;

That in order to prevent any worldwide disturbance of demonic possessions and attacks onto Frantumare and her children, it is appropriate for the language suspected of demon summoning to be banned by the ministry,

That consequently, and bearing in mind the national interest, it is imperative to dictate the usage and learning of languages;

By the virtue of the authority vested in it; and with the approval vote by the Strigea Council; it has enacted the following Decree-Law;

Article 1. The language of Ejurin will be outlawed and abolished. Schools and teachers that provide education in this language will be converted into another teaching or compensated.

Article 2. Those who insist on speaking the language will receive severe punishment that does not limit to the removal of tongue or poison consumption. Speakers may be sentenced to hard labor or imprisonment for no longer than 30 years.
