The Strigea Royal Courthouse is the building for the the royalties' law. The court involves those from noble blood and monarchs, including tax and first born joining the royal guards for the king. It is conducted within the noble district, and does not involve the other courthouses in other districts.
Purpose / Function
The royal court preceding takes place in this courthouse. Sometimes the most pettiest quarrel between nobles and royalties are brought to the court's attention to solve. It's best to leave the nobles to fight amongst themselves to the court. The commoners do not need to handle a group of rich children fighting over who gets to marry their daughters or sons.
The courthouse is led by the royal judge, appointed by the king himself to command the people and laws. Most of the time, it would be under their jurisdiction to pass judgment or laws to the nobles, luckily. Only recently, the new royal judge impose such large tax onto the nobles without a care from the king.
History
Hundred years prior to the construction of the walls, Strigea's laws were under one court during the time. The one that would eventually become the royal courthouse in Era 5. The laws were a mess, the courthouse had no proper system in punishment and judgment. This leads to a number of commoners jailed and executed due to the nobles bribing the judges and juries.
When the problem escalates to having lack of labors, they decided to separate the nobles and the commoners by assigning districts for them. The courthouse remains on the land and the noble district is built around it. Another courthouse is built specifically for the laws of the commoners, and this courthouse, the only one built from marbles, turned into the Strigea Royal Courthouse.
