Strigea Revolt

"I, I shot a Fera child. A child. All he did was crying for his mother, whom I shot too. He did nothing. Nothing! But I shot that kid and can only watch my comrades throw his body into a hole with the rest of the Feras! You think the badges mean anything?! I murdered, not protected!"
-Adam Silvain, A Human War Veteran
The Strigea Revolt, or Fera Revolt, was a war in Year 121 Era 5 Southern Strigea, during the reign of King Damien Wolfe (119 - 142). The conflict led to a population of 12.3 million Humans and Feras, the latter being the major casualties due to the poor treatment towards the Fera, and the new law of forcing castration onto Feras and the assassination of Queen Amanda Wolfe, wife of the king.

The Conflict

Aftermath

Was the war worth it? We stole childhoods, futures, lives, and here we are, drinking and dancing as if we didn't just murdered innocents.
Many Human soldiers immediately deserted the army once the war was over. Some were recorded to have left during the war, and left the kingdom in pursue of peace and salvation. They were guilt-ridden and suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), mostly from murdering innocent Feras especially children. Those who remains in the kingdom decides to live among the Feras and become their allies as a way to atone their sins.   The bitterness between Humans and Feras lingers for generations. Despite having allies among the humans, most are useless and old and the Feras are extremely hostile towards them due to the damage they caused.
