Bane of Frantumare

A sage foretold of the Bane of Frantumare, the Ashen Lord, will rise from the mass of tormented souls to lay waste on Frantumare and challenge the gods for their places as celestial bodies. The prophecy does not specify a gender, despite the Lord in the name. The people only assumes the Ashen Lord will be a male.

Summary

O' death, singing to me softly,
O' death, s'rve thy judgment to me,
O' death, thy ashes hath brought mine own endeth,
O' death, releaseth me from thy grasp.
When the next Dark Calamity transpires, the Ashen Lord will liberate Frantumare from the Human's grasp once more. The already shattered world breaks into tiny pieces and will be built anew by the Ashen Lord into their ideal world without the gods to govern.    The Ashen Lord operates from the Void, while sending their creatures, the Void Callers, into Frantumare. The world will be shrouded by darkness.   Every nook and cranny.   Every corners of Frantumare.    Nothing is safe from the Ashen Lord's grasp.

Historical Basis

The Ashen Born, the Bane of Maerus, caused the Dark Calamity that swallows the Old World Maerus before the Ashen Born is claimed by the All-Father.   During this time, the world went through Great Depression. Following from the Dark Calamity, creatures of the Void emerges and eliminated the entire population on Maerus. This event is recorded in the Book of Ash, telling the deeds of the Ashen Born to liberate the world from Humans oppression.   Sages around the world studies this book thoroughly, but due to it located and confined within Spectre, they could not make any cross refer nor attempt to find any discrepancy in the book. Plus, the people of Spectre are too reserved to share anything to outsiders.

Spread

The knowledge of this prophecy is kept within the Kingdom of Strigea, due to the fact it was built on the same spot where Laevenon was established. The kingdom also possesses The Statue of the Ashen Born, unbeknownst that the Ashen Born is the one that destroyed their ancestors.
