Once was a recruit of the assassin's guild, Predator, Alain Darte rose to be one of the deadliest Predator in the guild. They are married to the amorous Fera of Predator, Natalya Morozov and the Third Generation of Primal Fera. Despite their appearance, they are tender and have soft spots for children.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

They are 6 feet tall and well built. Despite that, they are extremely agile and utilized their strength to take down targets.

Body Features

They are known for their scars on their body. The ones on the forearms resembling stripes. Some believed they are the scars Alain carved according to the number of kills they done.

Facial Features

Rectangular chin with scars stretched from their right cheek, right eyebrow and forehead. Alain has rather tender expression despite their reputation, and often look at others with softness in their eyes. Sometimes their bangs covered their right eye.

Identifying Characteristics

Their scars are the most prominent features anyone can find on Alain, second to their white striped tail. Aside that, those who were able to see Alain directly in the eyes would notice their right eye looks like a cracked marble.

Personal history

Alain Darte often keeps to themselves and only confided in Natalya with their personal secrets. Alain's general backstory is that they are a wandering Fera in need of a place to stay and a job to feed themselves. This leads to their discovery of Predator, and joined the guild as a recruit. There, Alain met with Natalya and had the Teacher-Student relationship before it evolved into Rivals, though Alain never cared about the contest.
During an assignment, Alain and Natalya partnered up to assassinate a nobleman. Alain was tasked to keep eyes on the nobleman while Natalya took charge. It was when they realize the nobleman drugged Natalya that Alain intervened to assassinate him themselves. Natalya was indebted and the two became inseparable ever since.
Some time in their adventures, Alain suffered from blindness on the right eye and suddenly able to wield multiple Elemi at once. They also discovered the power of Inanis, and harnessed the Void for several assassinations before they receive repercussions, mainly to their right eye and memories. Upon Natalya's request, Alain rarely uses this power unless for pure emergency.
A couple of years later, Alain proposes Natalya following the Kazan culture of using earrings. It is unknown whether it is purely business or actual affection, but Alain greatly respects their wife and prioritizes her needs above themselves.

Gender Identity

Natalya realized that her spouse doesn't mind to be addressed as any gender, but the neutral pronouns made Alain happier. Since Alain refused to speak about it, she spoke on their behalf on how to be addressed while allowing some room for others to get used to address Alain.

Accomplishments & Achievements

If killing is an actual career, then they did a hell of a great job in it.

No one knew Alain's actual kill count is, but according to their wife, they are roughly 237 kills excluding the Ashseekers. Whether this number is merely exaggeration or not, Alain refused to comment further. They let Natalya say or brag about their skills as long as they do not hinder Alain's progress.
Or maybe Alain just like to see their wife being happy about something? Well, good luck getting any comment on that.

Alain's silence often mistaken for being mute or simple-minded, since Natalya is the one speaking for the both of them. Contrary to popular belief, Alain is intelligent and capable to construct impromptu strategies in dire situations. They spent most of their time observing than conversing, conserving energy for combat instead.

History

Their relationship began at a good start. Natalya was once Alain's mentor, showed the ropes of Predator and guided them through contracts. It was when Alain began to show their abilities in assassination that the woman felt challenged. The relationship devolved into rivals, though it was mostly one-sided on Natalya's side since Alain didn't seem to bother about the competition.
After Alain saved her from being assaulted, Natalya owed her life to the Fera, and since then partnered with them. Surprisingly, the duo worked extremely well together and became one of the best in their guild. They were offered into the Apex rank, but only Alain accepted and become the third generation Primal Fera in the process. Natalya remained as the seductress of the guild, however, Alain refused to leave her side despite their promotion to the highest rank of Predator.
Two years later since, Alain proposed Natalya with earrings; a red one for themselves and the blue for Natalya. Natalya's earring is on her left ear while Alain's on right. The duo made their relationship known and concerns arose from the guild master at the prospect of marriage and probably child-raising. Alain assured that they can still commit without problems.
As of current time, they have been married for four years.

Nicknames & Petnames

Natalya came up with the nickname Cub while Alain only called her Nat. They aren't exactly creative when it comes to nicknames, but on extremely rare occasion, Alain refers to their wife as My Lady, but only in private.

Relationship Reasoning

Natalya often questions their purpose of marriage, whether to make their disguise more convincing or it was actually out of love. Alain isn't a person of many words, but she has gotten better in reading her spouse's expression and tail movement. Her insecurities rose when she realized she isn't capable of domestic activities such as cooking or how to be a proper wife, further backed up with her unpleasant past as a prostitute.
Alain never shows their emotion so openly, but instances of affection were observed with Alain kissing Natalya's hand, or spoiling her with novelty items, knowing full well that Natalya dislike luxuries. Perhaps Alain truly loves their wife...
