In the Fractured Realm, mana is portrayed through thin threads that can be manifested into however the user sees fit. Mana runs through every living being and can be used to create catastrophic effects. From simply starting a fire to throwing a fireball, it all requires the use of mana. Normal spell casters would use these threads of mana to create wild effects known as spells. On the contrary, Knights per say, wouldn't draw on the mana around them, instead utilizing the mana they hold themselves for physical actions. Within blessed individuals certain types of mana exist. These threads produce non-normal effects usually providing benefits, rather than just being utilized. These types of mana threads usually reside within nobles, however there have been cases of normal people having these threads.
