The Provector Religion

“I’m not finished talking about the monks just yet. Besides their unsettling appearance, they preach biased and unfounded ideas. Most of these being to disrespect Caesellius Vindex in some particular way, and it’s a very petty way to get the people to hate the bottom-half of the island. Though, there are some good things that have come out of the organized indoctrination from the long dead founder of this place. Tons of art is present everywhere from citizens and the ghoul resembling monks. Mosaics, busts, and sculptures are everywhere from the apartments to The Palace. It creates an artistic and uplifting atmosphere that inspires the people living amongst it all. To become a monk, you have to undergo a certain set of trials which are kept a secret. I do see a lot of the newly recruited monks hold their back a lot as if it were in pain. They gather at some limestone temple with myths scribed on the outer walls. They only allow the common people to enter only to create art or to become one of them." - Edith Scourge

Divine Origins

This religion started around the inception of the Cupiditas War when tensions were growing. The founder and dictator of the time spawned the anti-Vindexian beliefs known today in order to unite his people under one cause. The reason this man was afraid of a revolt, was because he started the war due to his own greed. If the people found out the dictator selfishly took land from Caesellius Vindex for the resources, they would side against him. So then he blinded their sense of morality and pointed blame at the Vindexians for apparently being fat off their own incompetence and greed. When you look back on history his statements are comically ironic. You could say he was evil, but deep inside, he just wanted to protect his people.

Priesthood

Usually whoever is the dictator at that time guides the people or especially honored monks.
