The Provector Pistols

Further inspection reports... its ok. So the inside is undamaged, but what about the projectile? A recruit runs over to the target and fishes out a piece of squished metal out of the bullseye. Utility

Besides killing Vindexians, this gun has a mental use. This weapon stresses how much more advanced Provectus is compared to Caesellius Vindex. Battle plans on both sides were planned to accommodate the pistol. That is why Caesellius Vindex stopped planning charges into Provector territory.

Manufacturing

The pistol is separated into sections that are created separately. The barrel, chamber, and handle are produced and welded together to make a functioning firearm. In design it most closely resembles a revolver, although with some key differences.

Access & Availability

This weapon is restricted only to soldiers who pass an accuracy test. Civilians are restricted from purchasing this due to the threat of it reaching Operatio Memoria.

Complexity

Two secondary components come separately from the gun. The bullets are issued via delivery packages managed by the dictator. The dictator also sends vials of 'Splosion Sprout Liquid to be poured into the gun. This is done through a small hole bored into the metal that leads to the chamber. A small cap is secured on the hole that can be removed, it prevents the explosion from exiting the pouring hole. Two models of the pistol are manufactured, one is for the average soldier and the other is reserved only for high-ranking soldiers.

Discovery

During one of Provectus' tougher times during the war, the engineers regarded as the most skilled were summoned to The Palace. Ideas to turn the tide in the war were tossed around but one crazy idea was settled on. A piece of metal that propels a smaller piece of metal using 'Splosion Sprout Liquid. After years of trial and error, a prototype survived the testing stage. With a few tweaks, the pistols were released to qualifying recruits.
