The Youngest Ruler in Rhandeste, The Young Vanuk was anointed Ruler of Gwendmon when her Mother, High Lord Krisala Vanuk, retired from her governing post suddenly in order to "Greater understand the pleasures of our world, and indulge". Living in the shadow of her mother has made Lord Vanuk very shrewd, and often abrasive Lord as she often will make examples of the council members who refuse to acknowledge her authority. She is also bold: Though Slavery is Legal in Rhandeste, Lord Vanuk circumvented The Queens Laws by ruling that in Gwendmon Slavery would be illegal if involuntary, but legal if a slave willingly entered a contract by their own desire. This policy has, thus far, stood and that implicit approval from Queen Ro has done much to bolster the rule of Gwendmon.
